PASTOR HARRIS

Pastor Mark Harris also know as Bro. Harris was born in Johnstown St. Thomas, Jamaica in the year 1969.

He was buried in the name of Jesus Christ by water baptism and filled with the Holy Ghost in 1985 under the leadership of the late Pastor Carmen Stewart.

He then began attending Christ Chapel Pentecostal Church in Morant Bay, Jamaica, under the leadership of Pastor McHugh where he served in as the Men’s Department President and was a member of the youth committee. As time went on he became the assistant pastor to Bishop McHugh, taught the adult Sunday School and began preaching.

He married his lovely wife, Sis. Esther Harris in the year 1994 and migrated to Canada in the year 1996.

After migrating to Canada, the Harris’ began attending Weston UPC under the leadership of the late F.W. Mckenzie. He sang on the choir, taught Sunday School and later became the Home Bible Study Coordinator under Pastor Granville Mckenzie until 2006 when he was appointed a minister of the daughter work in Willowridge.

Pastor Harris enjoys learning; he has a Diploma in Accounting, is a master carpenter as well as has pursued biblical studies.

He is married to his beautiful wife, has three lovely daughters and two grandchildren.

He can be often found listening to and worshipping along to gospel music, listening to Apostolic preaching and or flying a handmade kite.
